1. Overview
Notable Autos ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit notableautos.com or use any related service we provide (the "Service"), how we use that information, with whom we share it, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
2. Who we are
Notable Autos is a brand of Numerant LLC, a Texas limited liability company. References to "Notable Autos" in this policy mean that entity.
You can reach us at [email protected].
3. Information we collect
Information you provide
When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and Google account ID from Google's OAuth service. We do not receive your Google password. If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and the content of your message.
If you set a home location, we keep the five-digit ZIP code you enter (or the ZIP nearest a position your browser shares, if you choose that option) so we can sort and filter cars by distance to the dealer. We store the ZIP only, never your exact position, and you can remove it at any time.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Service, our servers automatically log information such as your IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, the pages you view, referring URLs, and timestamps. We use this information to operate and secure the Service, debug problems, and understand aggregate usage.
Cookies and local storage
We use a small number of cookies and similar browser storage mechanisms. See Section 7 for the specific categories and purposes.
4. How we use your information
We use the information described above to:
- provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
- authenticate you and keep your account secure;
- communicate with you about the Service, including changes to these terms or to features;
- understand how the Service is used in aggregate so we can improve it;
- detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, security risks, and technical issues; and
- comply with applicable laws and respond to lawful requests.
6. Third-party services
The Service depends on the following third parties. Their use of your information is governed by their own privacy policies, not this one:
- Google — used for OAuth sign-in. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- Cloudflare — used for content delivery, DDoS protection, and DNS. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
- Hetzner — used for server hosting in the United States. See Hetzner's Privacy Policy.
If we add new third parties — for example, a payment processor for advertiser billing — we will update this list and, where appropriate, notify users on the Service.
8. Data retention
We retain account information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to satisfy legal, accounting, or operational needs. We retain server logs for a limited window (typically 30 to 90 days) before anonymization or deletion. If you delete your account, we will delete or de-identify your personal information within a reasonable time, except where we are required by law to retain it.
9. Your choices and rights
You have the following choices:
- Access and correction — you can review and update the basic profile information associated with your account from your account page.
- Deletion — you can request deletion of your account by emailing [email protected]. We will confirm the request before acting on it.
- Communications — transactional emails (account, security, legal) are part of using the Service. Marketing emails, if any are added in the future, will include an unsubscribe link.
Texas residents and residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and Virginia) may have additional rights regarding the personal information we hold about them, including rights to access, delete, correct, or obtain a portable copy of that information, and to opt out of certain uses. You can exercise these rights by contacting us at [email protected]. We will verify your identity before fulfilling your request and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information against accidental loss and unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. International users
The Service is operated from the United States and is intended for users in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those in your country.
12. Children's privacy
The Service is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will delete it. If you believe a child under 18 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at [email protected].
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice — for example, by displaying a banner on the Service or emailing the address associated with your account. Your continued use of the Service after the updated policy takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
